Defining the operational boundaries and professional expectations for our predictive analytics and data lab services in Malaysia.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Yangtze Data Lab, located at KL 8, Kuala Lumpur, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the Client or User) and Yangtze Data Lab.
If you are using our services on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these conditions, you must cease all use of our data lab facilities and digital platforms immediately.
2. Predictive Services & Data Handling
Yangtze Data Lab provides advanced predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and data strategy consulting. While we employ rigorous scientific standards, the nature of predictive modeling involves inherent uncertainties.
- Client Responsibilities: You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of all data sets provided to our lab for analysis. We assume no responsibility for skewed results stemming from corrupted or incomplete source data.
- Access Limitations: Use of our proprietary API or dashboard is restricted to authorized personnel only. Sharing credentials with third parties without written consent is a material breach of this agreement.
- Regional Compliance: Our services are designed to comply with Malaysian data protection standards. Users outside Malaysia are responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
Our Lab Assets
All algorithms, proprietary code, visual interfaces, and the "Yangtze Data Lab" brand identity remain the exclusive property of Yangtze Data Lab. No license is granted to reverse-engineer our predictive models.
Client Insights
Reports and specific insights generated exclusively from your raw data are your property, subject to full payment of service fees. We retain the right to use de-identified metadata to improve our general models.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Yangtze Data Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of the use or inability to use our data lab services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question during the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the parties hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

6. Modification of Agreements
Yangtze Data Lab reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our data lab after the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
